The Messy One

Hi! Thanks for popping in. Most people don't want to be referred to as, "The Messy One". Let's just say, I embrace this persona. I let my laundry stack up, my desk is full of piles, and my sink usually has dishes piled high. I figure that eventually I'll figure out how to organize everything in my life, until then... I'll enjoy every day to the fullest.

You can find me happy as a clam living in the state of Missouri. I'm a proud Mizzou alum and I can happily say that I have my dream job at 24. A few of my obsessions are: my family, Instagram, my career, Disney World, the BF, my fabulous crew of friends, and life in general.

I started this blog originally in 2008 while studying abroad to share my adventures with family and friends. I quickly abandoned my blog after returning to the states. After my first year of teaching, I jumped on the teaching blog bandwagon.

This blog is a combination of recipes, crafts, and classroom activities. Three of my favorite things in life rolled into one!

  5. Hi there! I'm a second year teacher finishing up 2 consecutive years teaching in a village in the southwestern interior of rural Alaska. I plan on actually moving back to my home state of Indiana... but in my blog hopping, I stumbled upon your blog and feel like we must be soul sisters. I'm a total messimesta at heart too. Once a year I go on a organizing frenzy that last all of about a week. I hope you don't mind a new follower! :)
